Travel Insurance For Pensioners:
Pensioner's Travel Insurance
A question often asked is, are there any companies that offer insurance specifically for pensioners?
Whilst manytravel insurance companies cater for the over 60s, they are not aimed directly at pensioners.
Two obvious choices for travel insurance for pensioners are Age Concern and Saga. However despite being aimed at the over 65 market, it doesn't necessarily mean that they offer cheaper prices. We think the answer as with most things is shop around. We have done just that and so feel free to look over some of the travel insurance deals that we have found. Keeping Costs Down and Finding that Travel Insurance Deal
We all want to save money. Here are some tips for finding the besat deal and travel insurance prices down.
- Book online where possible. You often get a significant discount for doing this. Even if you call the company to clarify a few things, check whether it is worth you hanging up and completing your transaction online.
- Check whether you really need the level of insurance cover that you are purchasing. You might be fine paying a cheaper premuim and taking less cover. We have more about this here.
- Do you really need an annual policy? Alternatively is it more effective to book multi trip insurance. Do you need Worldwide cover is European travel cover sufficient? Plan ahead and get the right cover for you.
- Look for discount and voucher codes. Type the insurance company name and voucher code into a search engine then see what comes up. It doesn't always work, but where it does you can make good savings.
- Use a cashback site like quidco or top cash back.
